Terms
Terms of Service
CRAB services are offered exclusively to business customers and persons acting for purposes relating to their trade, business or profession.
A. Contracting entity
Contracts for CRAB services are concluded with VSN jednostavno društvo s ograničenom odgovornošću za trgovinu i proizvodnju (VSN j.d.o.o.), Ulica jablanova 31, 31000 Osijek, Republic of Croatia.
B. B2B eligibility
The purchaser represents that it is purchasing in a business or professional capacity and has authority to bind the organisation named in the order or inspection request.
C. Service description
CRAB performs evidence-based technical inspections of publicly accessible ecommerce surfaces using the CRAB agent-commerce inspection engine. Deliverables may include inspection evidence, findings, recommendations and a merchant-facing report where report validity permits.
D. Inspection boundary
CRAB may, within authorised product boundaries:
- navigate publicly accessible pages;
- inspect DOM, accessibility and structured information observable on public surfaces;
- observe publicly observable network behaviour relevant to the inspection;
- select product variants where publicly offered;
- add or remove known products from carts where permitted and reversible;
- reach an ordinary checkout boundary.
CRAB does not:
- place orders or submit payment;
- create customer accounts or invent customer identities;
- use merchant admin credentials supplied by the customer unless explicitly agreed in writing for a separate engagement;
- intentionally bypass authentication or access controls;
- circumvent technical security protections.
E. Customer authority
The customer confirms it has a legitimate business basis to request inspection of the submitted website or domain — for example as the merchant, its agency, or another party with appropriate authority. The customer is responsible for ensuring the request does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
A free readiness check requires proof of domain control before any inspection runs. CRAB only inspects stores whose operator or owner has authorised the check. Study participation is voluntary. Study publication is anonymous unless separate naming permission exists.
F. Output and verdicts
Reports contain observations and findings supported by inspection evidence. Compatibility verdicts may include READY, PARTIAL, BLOCKED and INDETERMINATE. Report validity states may include REPORTABLE, DEGRADED and NOT_REPORTABLE. CRAB does not provide a numeric 0–100 score.
G. No guarantee
A CRAB report is a point-in-time technical assessment. It does not guarantee future website behaviour, sales, conversion, search ranking, compatibility with every AI agent, uninterrupted availability, or legal or regulatory compliance of the customer's website.
H. Recommendations
Recommendations are technical and product guidance. They are not legal, accounting, tax, security certification or professional advisory services.
I. Commercial terms
CRAB Inspection: EUR 149 + VAT where applicable.
Free check for one client store: EUR 0. The first authorised client-store check for a qualified ecommerce agency is provided free of charge.
Prices are stated net unless otherwise specified. Applicable VAT or reverse-charge treatment depends on the customer's status and applicable tax law. VSN j.d.o.o. does not determine tax treatment from browser input alone; valid billing and VAT identifiers may be required.
CRAB Inspection purchase uses Stripe-hosted Checkout after company billing details. CRAB does not store raw card credentials. Card payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted surfaces; CRAB does not store raw card credentials.
J. Payment
Payment is collected before paid inspection work begins. VSN j.d.o.o. uses Stripe as its payment provider for card payments. Payment confirmation is based on server-side verified payment provider state, not on a browser redirect alone.
K. Delivery
Inspection and report delivery follow the agreed pilot or commercial scope. Turnaround depends on queue, merchant surface complexity and operator authorisation. No guaranteed SLA is implied unless expressly agreed in writing.
L. Reinspection
CRAB Inspection: includes one reinspection of the same store within 30 days after remediation.
Free check for one client store: covers one authorised client store.
M. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate company, contact and billing information, a valid website or domain for inspection, authority necessary for the requested service, and reasonable cooperation where needed.
N. Acceptable use
The customer must not use CRAB for unlawful access, credential theft, security circumvention, fraudulent purchases, abuse of merchant systems, malicious interference or unlawful monitoring.
O. Intellectual property
VSN j.d.o.o. retains CRAB software, methods, interfaces, trademarks and underlying technology. The customer retains rights in its own materials. The customer receives a right to use its delivered CRAB report internally and for legitimate business purposes. VSN j.d.o.o. does not claim ownership of the customer's website or content.
P. Confidentiality
Each party will treat non-public information received directly from the other as confidential where reasonably expected. Public website evidence captured during inspection is not automatically confidential merely because CRAB recorded it.
Q. Liability
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, VSN j.d.o.o.'s aggregate liability arising from CRAB services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Neither party excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
R. Termination and refusal
VSN j.d.o.o. may refuse or suspend inspections that appear unlawful, unsafe, outside authorised product boundaries or inconsistent with these terms.
S. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Courts in Osijek, Croatia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law.
T. Changes
VSN j.d.o.o. may update these terms. The version and last updated date appear at the top of this page.
