Methodology
From product page to checkout
CRAB runs a deterministic agent-commerce inspection across the real shopping journey — capturing evidence at every stage and stopping before an order or payment is submitted.
CRAB does not ask whether your website looks agent-ready. It asks whether the commerce journey works.
Signals and standards matter because agents need them. But CRAB follows those signals into the actual commerce outcome:
Discover → Understand → Select → Cart → Checkout → Total
Within that journey, exact-item verification is part of commerce readiness. A human immediately notices when a store has selected the wrong size, colour or product version — an autonomous buyer needs to be able to prove the same thing before it continues. CRAB verifies that the intended product identity survives from selection to cart, and does not treat a wrong variant as success.

CRAB can inspect an ordinary checkout and the data required to continue, but it deliberately stops before completing a commercial transaction.

This is a commerce inspection
CRAB evaluates the execution of an agentic buying journey. It is not a general website AI-readiness score, and it does not treat protocol adoption alone as proof that a store is commerce-ready.
Evidence, not a score
CRAB records what actually happened during the journey. Findings are tied to captured evidence and reported as READY, PARTIAL, BLOCKED or INDETERMINATE — never reduced to a fabricated 0–100 score.
